Mangalore, Feb. 26 :

Olympian A.B. Subbaiah, saxophone exponent Kadri Gopalnath and litterateur Dr. Chandrashekar Kambara were awarded honorary doctorates (honoris causa) by the Mangalore University at its 31st Convocation held on Saturday.

Chancellor-Governor H.R. Bhardwaj, who presided over the function, presented the doctorates. Science & Technology Department (Government of India) Secretary Dr. T. Ramasami was the chief guest. Vice-Chancellor Prof. T.C. Shivashankara Murthy presented the University report.
